2004 – 2005 – 2006 Issues
2004, 2005, and 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokees share the same problems, and the main ones stand on the windows, windshields, and interior accessories overall.
Some slight electrical and engine problems have caused many drivers to have some slight incidents. Something specific to mention stands the fact that engine problems are most commonly found in the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
2011 – 2012 Issues
Moving on, another two years to avoid include the 2011 and 2012 models of Jeep Grand Cherokee.
First and foremost, these two years of this car model are known to be the worst cars launched in these years, and the two worst Jeep Grand Cherokees of all time.
The main problem that made the 2011 model Jeep Grand Cherokee earn hundreds of complaints is the electrical part of the car. I have encountered this problem many times, as I have noticed that the car didn’t even start, and whenever I achieved to turn it on, it was a problem to turn it off.
When it comes to the 2012 model of this car, once again, Jeep couldn’t do anything in terms of improvement on the electrical part, plus there were shown problems such as the engine itself, the interior accessories, and the fuel system.
2014 – 2015 – 2016 Issues
Interior accessories, transmission, and engine problems are all the main characteristics that make the 2014 model Jeep Grand Cherokee avoidable.
In interior accessories, you will find issues with the leather seats, somehow uncomfortable seats, and also radio malfunction. When in transmission, you will notice considerable problems with changing shifts. In terms of engine problems, you will deal with lightning.
The 2015 and the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has brought to me issues with the transmission and overall engine, while noticing some slight issues with shifting, especially in first gear. The engine issues include oil leakage.
